My first truck was a '95 F150 Supercab 4x4. Next came one of the first '97 F150s. It was a great truck and took us on numerous Death Valley trips, but it was just a bit on the small and underpowered side. Then the F250 Superduty.
I bought a new F150 SuperCrew - mistake. The bed was to small. Sold it after 3 months. Next came an SVT F150 Lightning, fast but useless for offroad travel. I'll probably start building a new desert truck in 2001. A baby on the way, The Lightning's no use as a family vehicle - Order an F350 March 2001. The new F350 CrewCab 4x4 has arrived (Tuesday afternoon, spend the evening packing and head for the desert the next day).
December 2001. F350 CrewCab too big, an Expedition now carries us around.
July 2002, missing the desert too much, Exhibition's gone, a new F350 takes it's place. Ok, I guess I like full-size F-Series. The links on the left will take you to details of each truck.
June 2004 - The Full-size era is over. The F350 has been replaced by a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Needless to say, it's been heavily modded in the 6 months I've owned it. |
