11/26/02 Jail Canyon.
A fun day was had by everyone (except the guy in the black
truck). The trail up was nice and easy. There are a couple of washes to cross
but the big truck straddled most obstacles
and picked its way through the tight spots.

On the way down, a thumping was heard (Just by the huge
boulder). It turns out that the sway bar arm has come of it's bushing. I
assume it's the nut that's come off and head back up the trail on foot to find
it. Nope! wrong. After returning to the truck and pulling the sway bar arm
completely off, I see that the nut is still attached and the arm has just pulled
completely off the bushing. Below are the Topo and 3D relief maps with the GPS
track imposed on them. 'BUST' is where the sway bar came off.

I pushed the sway bar link out of harms way and we head back down the trail and fix things back at
Panamint Springs.
